The mission of Do the Run Thing is to create and nurture sustainable running communities that improve the health and happiness of the overall community. We focus on youth-based initiatives, under-served communities, public works projects that improve access to safe running spaces, and community partners and events that align with our mission.

We make feet — and therefore employees — happier and healthier. Through our corporate outreach programs, we bring our expertise, fit id® 3D foot scanning technology and a broad range of premium products to workplaces, health fairs, employee appreciation days and other events. We also schedule one-on-one appointments with employees in our stores and provide personalized advice and footwear solutions.
MEDICAL OUTREACH
We connect with local medical professionals so that we can assist their patients with foot and lower leg pain such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, shin splints, IT band syndrome, runner’s knee and more. Our professionally-trained staff can provide advice, products and personalized solutions to help patients find footwear, insoles and more to improve their comfort and reach their goals.

HIGH SCHOOL SUPPORT
Young runners are the future of our sport and we love to support them as they chase their goals. In addition to our specialized outfitting experience, we support local high schools with special shopping events, spike nights, fun runs and mental health initiatives.
